Please allow me to introduce myself-(I just totally sang that out loud using my best Mick Jagger impression, and if you don't know what I am referring to, you are most likely too young to be following me here) but I am getting off-track, which I tend to do quite often since chemo!
My name is Pam, and I am a wife, mom, grandma, woman of faith, runner, marathoner, slightly overweight, somewhat sassy, slow-talkin' southern gal! I am also a cancer survivor.
I am not a writer by any stretch of the imagination, especially now that chemo brain seems to be a permanent part of my life. However, I want to share my journey from my cancer diagnosis to my quest to become a real runner again!
I am certainly not faster these days, but I am most definitely stronger!
A friend and athletic hero of mine reminded me soon after I was diagnosed-
I am marathon strong-I've got his!!
