Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
EMBRACE THE LOVE OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Love is such a powerful drug! During some very challenging days during treatment, I found it very helpful to just, "embrace the love of my family and friends." I merely focused on their love and not on whether I would be around to continue basking in their love-next week, next month or next year. I focused on the love they were showing me right then and there.
FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE
It's not always easy to focus on the positive, but sometimes it's really worthwhile to give it a good try!

Hope makes it easier to keep our heads above water while navigating through the stormy seas that we all face at one time or another in our lives.
Hope is not the same thing as wishing. Hope is about recognizing that the outcome we want is possible and taking steps (even if they are baby steps) to attain that result.
Wishing for something is doing nothing while sitting around waiting for a miracle to happen.
