I am a runner-yes, I AM a runner. I have to say that I struggled with writing that sentence. I've been a runner for years and years, but over the past year after my breast cancer diagnosis and ensuing treatments, I have to say that I don't feel much like one anymore. I've done some occasional walk/jogs, but nothing that could be called actual "running" in quite awhile.

As you can see in the photos below, over the years my hair color has changed, my weight has fluctuated a LOT, but one thing that never changed was the fact that I always considered myself a runner! Sometimes when I was struggling with my weight, I didn't like to tell people

I was a runner because I could just imagine them thinking, "Yeah-sure lady....ha-ha you're a runner!" 


After being away from running for so long now, I don't care if I look like a runner-I just want to get back to being a runner!!
